What is Testing Documentation?

Testing documentation is the group of all the written records, files, or digital notes that capture the various aspects of a software testing process. It describes the test coverage and execution process, lists the essentials, and quotes the basic terminology. In other words, it’s a record of the testing team’s strategy, objectives, processes, metrics, and results through the entire process and carries the complete information regarding all the testing activities that have ever happened or will take place in the future.
