How to identify and validate broken links in knowledge base

Links status is a sub-feature under the Analytics section of Document360. This feature is a broken link checker that helps validate and monitor all internal links, external links, and media file links on your Knowledge base. It helps you fix bad links to improve SEO and enhance the reader experience.

There are 3 types of validation that can be performed on your project to get the latest status of your links.

Schedule Validation: This is an automated link validation that runs on a schedule based on your Document 360 pricing plan.

Manual Validation: Allows you to complete check of all links on your project at the moment, this comes in handy when you made a large number of changes on your knowledge base and want to make sure all the links are working right.

Article level Validation: An article level validation performs a quick run-through check on an individual article, this can come in handy when you are working on documentation and have to quickly verify the links in your article are valid.

The link status page will keep a record of all article validations we performed. You will also have the option of exporting these reports as an excel file or PDF
