The Era of LLM Agents: Next Big Wave in Knowledge Management

Gartner predicts that search engine volume will drop up to 25% in 2026. This is because of the emergence of GenAI-powered search engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity,, and so on. Customers prefer to use a ChatGPT-like interface to seek answers, which are powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) for their convenience and ease of use. More importantly, it saves time and is more productive. Research shows that most of the knowledge workers are using ChatGPT at least 4 to 6 times a day.   • Hierarchical

This is suitable in a managerial hierarchy where tasks are delegated to other LLM agents and executed based on certain commands. This favors more asynchronous execution of the steps to accomplish a particular task

  • Consensual

This is suitable for tasks where collaborative decision-making is involved. This is ideal for any tasks that involve decision-making using various inputs from other LLM agents’ outputs


The LLM agents will amplify human productivity by many folds and are poised for enterprise adoption.
